I got this mascara with high hopes as this mascara which comes from a Japanese company meets all Japanese standard quality. It does not have eye-catching packaging but the quality is more desirable than everything you can imagine. 

I liked how the wand is designed in a curved shape and contains a 5mm long fiber that helps to separate your lashes and give you extra length.

I found it helped give my eyelashes a curl that was better than even popular brands like L’Oreal. It also added considerable length.

However, when I applied it on my lashes the texture felt super-light that you never feel heavy or clump no matter how many coats you apply. 

Plus, it has four types of essence to protect your lashes and work well even on sensitive eyes.

I just had one complaint. It wouldn’t get off! When the formula says waterproof it means waterproof. So it’s a good thing if you live in a rainy area (or if you are a crier!).

2. Maybelline Lash Sensational Washable Mascara

When I saw this mascara, I simply couldn’t resist! After all, the Maybelline Lash Sensational Washable Mascara is one of the most classic mascara in the makeup world.

My favourite part about this mascara is that it has a fanning brush that easily goes into every lash from the base to the top and adds more length and volume. 

If you prefer a natural appearance, one coat is enough. But in case you want something more intense and dramatic, this mascara is buildable and still easy to remove. 

I also liked that it helped curl my lashes. My Asian girlies will know how important that is to make your eyes pop!

I’ve always used the Maybelline Colossal Mascara and I liked this one better as it gives you the same 8+ hours long-lasting effect without the difficulty of cleaning it.

However, the formula is a little bit wet so it can be a messy application if you are not patient. So please note that it takes more time to apply.

I also noticed that the mascara clumps a lot. I tried using their brush and one of my own mascara, but the formula clumped up weirdly every single time. Maybe it’s because of the quick-drying formula but I’d suggest you get this product on as fast as you can.

3. L’Oreal Paris Makeup Lash Paradise Mascara

I noticed that a lot of mascara’s I bought for myself had very long brushes. These were difficult to manoeuvre around my small Asian eyelashes.

And I was impressed by the L’Oreal mascara as it has a small soft wavy bristle brush that fits Asian eyes. So, you can use it easily to give more definition to your lashes without any special skills. 

I live in a very rainy area, so I liked the water-resistance formula!

My favorite part about this mascara is that it didn’t just lengthen my eye lashes. It gave them volume and “thickness” and made them look more “feathery”. This is something I don’t see most mascaras doing for Asian eyes.

One more strong point is this mascara stays gorgeous in your eyes up to 24 hours. No rain, sweat, humidity, tears or oily eyes can make it smear. Additionally, you can wash it off with gentle cleansing water.

And the second reason is that this product has a light texture and simple to apply to the eyes. It clings very well so you don’t need to worry about smudging.

It is odourless so I am sure it is also eye-friendly and really suited my sensitive skin.

This is an expensive mascara but I didn’t regret purchasing it. I was looking for the best mascara for Asian eyelashes, and this was it!

It has an amazing brush with two different parts. You can use a shorter wand for the base of the lash and the longer part for every lash. It extends your lashes and gives more definition.

It is also easy to go smooth in your eyelashes without clumping or smearing.

However, I was disappointed in one thing – this product is quite difficult to remove because of the waterproof formula. You need to use eye makeup remover to completely clean this product.

My teeny-tiny problem with this product is that the mascara portion is quite small. But everything else gets a thumbs up from me!
